Interstate Medicine, interstatemedicine.com · Last updated: October 30, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use interstatemedicine.com and the Interstate Medicine Ledger and Interstate Medicine Roster, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have done
- A text size control in the app, and a type scale that holds up to 200% zoom.
- Keyboard access to menus, forms and dialogs, with a visible focus outline and a skip link on every page.
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA, and status never shown by color alone.
- Labels on form fields, and touch targets sized for phones.
Known limits
- Some state board documents and forms we link to are scanned PDFs we do not control.
- Charts and document previews may not describe every detail to a screen reader. Ask us and we will give you the same information another way.
Tell us about a barrier
Email help@interstatemedicine.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, and include the page and what happened. We reply within 5 business days and will help you complete what you were trying to do while we fix it.
